All women of the parish are invited to step away from the busyness of daily life and join us for a powerful two-part weekend of faith, friendship, and renewal at the Women’s Cornerstone Retreat, November 7–8. This retreat offers the gift of time to pause, reflect, and encounter Christ in a deeper way.
What are the talks?
The Cornerstone talks are personal “sharing” of how God’s love and activity are present in our everyday lives. Each speaker offers her story of who she is and her relationship with the Lord. These heartfelt stories are the Good News of Jesus alive among us today.
Who will run the weekend?
Cornerstone is led by a team of women who attended last year’s retreat, supported by women from previous Cornerstone weekends and parishes. Each brings her unique gifts—leading small group discussions, giving talks, praying with Scripture, planning prayer services, and creating a welcoming environment. Their shared mission: to support you in growing personally in knowledge and love of God.
What will it be like?
The team has prepared a beautiful experience to care for you spiritually, emotionally, and physically. The retreat begins Friday evening with a light dinner and continues Saturday with prayer, Scripture, small group discussions, Reconciliation, and concludes with dinner, liturgy, and a joyful celebration with families. Cornerstone will take place at our SVM Parish Center. Participants return home Friday night and rejoin Saturday morning at 8:30 am.
